Soulfused

Development
By Rob from the Shack
A dystopian sci-fi text adventure where you play as a part-human, part-machine soldier fighting for a collapsing Empire. A modern homage to classic text games.

Soulfused is a narrative-driven text adventure set in a bleak dystopian future, where humanity and machinery have become inseparably intertwined. You play as a hybrid soldier, part human and part robot, deployed in service of an authoritarian Empire whose grip on power may not be as stable as it appears.

The game is played entirely through text input, with no mouse interaction at all. Every action, decision, and exploration is driven by what you choose to type, evoking the classic text-based adventures of the 1970s and 1980s while layering in modern presentation, usability improvements, and atmospheric visuals.

As you progress, Soulfused challenges you not only with survival and tactical choices, but with questions around identity, obedience, and what remains of humanity when flesh and machine are fused together. It is a deliberately focused experience that embraces its format fully, designed for players who enjoy deep narrative, imagination-led gameplay, and thoughtful science fiction.
