Super Takoyaki Battle

Super Takoyaki Battle is a game about making takoyaki, the Japanese street food, using a takoyaki maker. Players fill each hole in the pan with batter and ingredients, then watch the takoyaki cook. When one begins to brown, the player flips it with a pick. Flipping too early or too late affects the result, and a takoyaki is finished once both sides are fully cooked. Better-made takoyaki earn more points, and players aim to make as many as possible before time runs out.

The game has several modes. Party Battle is the featured mode, where up to four players share one large grill. Random events change the course of a match, and players can use items to gain an advantage over opponents. Battle mode also supports up to four players and lets players face CPU opponents. Score Attack is a single-player challenge in which players fill orders and aim for a high score across three makers: a home maker, a food stall maker and a commercial maker. Each maker comes with its own challenges.

The game also includes rankings, which let players compare high scores with players from around the world. Controllers are required for local multiplayer.
