Super Yooka-Laylee Kart

Super Yooka-Laylee Kart is an arcade-style kart racing game set in the Yooka-Laylee universe, featuring Yooka, Laylee and a cast of associated characters. Players race across tracks spanning old and new worlds, using special moves, weapons and advanced racing techniques that require precise control. The game includes a Rage system, where taking damage from rivals builds up a meter that can be unleashed for revenge abilities intended to allow comebacks during a race.

The game offers a story campaign made up of tournaments, rival races and skill-based challenges against CPU racers, alongside a strategic layer where coins collected during races can be spent on perks between races. Players can choose between different spending and speed strategies to gain an advantage. Race customisation options allow players to set rules such as weapon restrictions or altered race conditions, and to create their own tournaments.

Multiplayer features include online races, time trials and leaderboards, supported by rollback netcode aimed at reducing input lag. The game also supports dedicated online friend lobbies and local split-screen multiplayer for up to eight players. Visually, it uses pixel art combined with modern rendering techniques.
