SuperStore Simulator
SuperStore Simulator is a management and simulation game in which the player runs a supermarket, beginning with a small local grocery shop and working towards a larger retail operation. The player is responsible for the layout of the store, placing shelves, fridges and display aisles to shape how customers move through the space.
Day-to-day play centres on stock and money. Products are ordered from wholesalers, deliveries are unpacked and shelves are kept filled with goods ranging from fresh produce and drinks to snacks and household items. Prices are set with reference to market trends, requiring a balance between profit margins and rates low enough to retain customers. The player also pays bills, manages loans and reinvests earnings. At the checkout, the player scans items, hands over the correct change for cash purchases and processes card payments, with queue speed affecting customer satisfaction.
Profits can be spent on enlarging the store footprint, unlocking additional product categories and increasing storage capacity. Cashiers and shelf stockers can be recruited through a staff management system to share the workload. The game includes dozens of products and supply options, a fully customisable store layout, and customer AI that models varied shopping habits.
