Taskesy 2
Taskesy 2 is a task management application created by a solo developer. Rather than a game in the traditional sense, it is a tool for dividing work into tasks and tracking their completion. The developer describes it as being built around simplicity, and states that it was originally made to support their own projects, with daily use for planning tasks across the day and week. Other uses mentioned include keeping a diary where columns represent months and boxes represent days, deciding what to do, play or watch next, and taking notes while studying.
The application organises content into columns and boxes. Users can add or delete columns and boxes, exchange their positions, and drag and drop them, with automatic scrolling while dragging. Columns and boxes can be marked, and the view can be zoomed in or out. Files can be loaded and saved, each file can be customised with the user’s chosen colours, and a file can be opened directly without first launching the application and then selecting it.
The developer states that the software was optimised with sustainability in mind, following Green Software principles, and that no AI was used. Demo and shortcuts files are included to help new users learn the software. Taskesy 2 was made with the Godot Engine.
