Tridan

Tridan is a card roguelite built around the format of 3-card poker. Players assemble hands, score them and attempt to survive through as many rounds as they can. Runs are described as endless, with difficulty increasing the further a player progresses.

In place of a traditional shop, the game uses a Wheel of Fortune progression system. This delivers rewards that can shape a player’s build, but it can also introduce drawbacks. Rewards can be rerolled, allowing players to adjust their approach as a run develops. The developer notes that the 3-card format is intended to keep runs short while keeping individual decisions significant.

The game is centred on discovering synergies and combinations between cards, with each run offering different strategies and outcomes. Tridan has now been released on Steam and, at the time of writing, has received three user reviews.
