Wait, Cards I Memorized?
Wait, Cards I Memorized? is a memory training game built around the Memory Palace technique. Rather than presenting a straightforward matching challenge, it is structured to help players encode, store and recall information in an organised way. The game is intended as a quiet, low-pressure exercise with no complex rules.
Play is split into three phases. In the Memorise phase, a card is displayed for a few seconds for the player to commit to memory. In the Recall phase, the card appears alongside its memory hook and an association image, reinforcing the link between them. In the Match phase, the player selects the correct card from a set of options.
The demo version asks players to memorise 13 cards, each tied to one of 13 memory hooks located on the face and body. Every card is also paired with an association image that follows a single rule: the first letter of the image matches the card’s suit. The stated aim is to remember all 13 cards.
