Wanker
Single-player
Wanker is a rhythm-based interaction tool in which players scrub through video tracks using physical motion, with timing and direction changes triggering on-screen feedback.

Wanker is a rhythm and timing-based interactive experience built around repeated scrubbing gestures. The developer describes it as inspired by embodiment illusions, the cognitive effect also behind the so-called rubber hand illusion, with the aim of building a sense of connection between the user and the on-screen avatar through sustained, timed input.

The core mechanic involves dragging through video tracks using physical motion rather than button presses. The software detects direction changes and inflection points, and the player is asked to match an IN-OUT-IN sequence. Hitting this sequence accurately triggers bursts, cues and other feedback events, and the developer states that more precise timing produces stronger and more responsive feedback.

The basic version includes a library of playable video tracks, IN-OUT-IN inflection detection, burst-based timing mechanics, custom playlists and track editing tools. The developer positions the software as being aimed at those interested in rhythmic interaction tools and timing-based feedback loops.
