Wordless Forest

Wordless Forest is a live-action survival game in which the player character has lost their memory and must navigate an unfamiliar forest using instinct alone. The game contains no spoken or written dialogue, with the narrative conveyed entirely through environmental observation and player action.

Progress depends on choices made throughout the game rather than puzzles or reflex-based challenges. Decisions carry lasting consequences, and a single wrong choice or overlooked detail can affect the outcome. The game offers four different endings depending on the player’s actions.

The game was filmed entirely in live-action across the forests of four different cities, using natural light throughout. It was developed solo, with the writing, direction, acting, editing and coding all carried out by one person over a period of two and a half years.
