Worming from Home

Worming from Home is a job simulation game in which the player takes the role of a worm employed as a junior financial analyst. The aim is to progress through the company by completing work, earning money and eventually gaining a promotion.

The worm is controlled using ragdoll physics, and the player moves its body around a desk to interact with the keyboard. Tasks include answering messages, filling out spreadsheets and picking up the phone from time to time. Hitting the keys with the worm’s head makes it appear to the boss that work is being done. Players can also use insider information to manipulate the stock market illegally, and they can invest and buy upgrades to make the job easier.

Outside working hours, the game offers a number of other activities. These include exercising at the gym, reading self-help books, shopping for trinkets and flirting with coworkers. Money can be spent on upgrades or on cosmetic items such as hats.
