Kaiju Cleanup is a co-op simulation game where players clean up the remains of giant defeated monsters using specialised tools, solo or with up to four players.

Kaiju Cleanup is a simulation game in which players take on the role of a Kaiju Cleaner, tasked with disposing of the massive corpses left behind after giant alien monsters are defeated. The hazard zones are filled with radiation, acidic fluids, and explosive organs, requiring careful and methodical work to make the area safe for reconstruction. Players who die on the job can respawn as a new clone and continue the cleanup.

The core gameplay involves using a set of tools to extract and launch Kaiju innards, slice remains into smaller pieces, collect various fluids, and power-wash the environment until it is clear of hazards. The game supports online co-op for up to four players, allowing teams to work together on the same site at their own pace.

Progression is tied to completing missions, which unlock equipment upgrades and customisation options for the player’s base, van, and outfit. The game also includes narrative elements such as audio logs, crew dialogue, an expanding codex of Kaiju research, and an in-game news segment called InfoBlast that provides additional context on the world and its events.
