A fishing game that's also a mystery, where every cast could pull up more than just fish. Calm one minute, unsettling the next.

About Fishing does something clever: it takes the relaxing rhythm of casting a line and quietly slips a mystery underneath it. Every fish you catch has its own quirks to figure out, and beyond just filling your bucket, some of them lead you toward fragments of something much older and stranger hidden beneath the water.

You can play it however you like. Trade your catch, upgrade your gear, explore new spots, or just soak in the atmosphere of a town that actually feels lived in. Time passes, weather shifts, and the people around you have their own routines and memories that make the place feel like somewhere real rather than a backdrop.

It’s made by Kevin from The Water Museum (who also made Arctic Eggs), and you can tell it comes from genuine love for games like Shenmue and Sega Bass Fishing. Part cosy fishing sim, part slow burn mystery, About Fishing is the kind of game that sneaks up on you.
