Glasshouse is a turn-based CRPG about politics, murder and moral compromise, locked inside one apartment block on the eve of a world war.

Glasshouse drops you into the shoes of Wealdmaer, a deputy head of condominium with a burning need to be remembered as righteous. Trouble is, you’re stuck in your building with three dead bodies, a load of nervy neighbours, and a war creeping closer outside the windows. It’s an isometric CRPG clearly drawing from Disco Elysium and Pathologic, all sharp dialogue, ideological arguments and choices that actually stick to you.

Combat here isn’t about grinding through mobs. Every fight is against a real person with their own motives and politics, and you can either scrap it out turn-based Final Fantasy style or try to talk them down using your Political Compass, a five way ideology system that shapes how you argue, persuade and survive. Every resident of Dormitory 73B has their own hidden beliefs to uncover, and every conversation can branch into puzzles, quick time events or secrets you’d never expect from a chat with your neighbour.

Set in a fractured, feudal post-capitalist world called Lundonstoch, Glasshouse is narrated like a Greek tragedy, complete with an inner Chorus commenting on your choices. There are over eight endings and not one of them is happy, so if you fancy a CRPG that treats every dialogue option like it actually matters, this one’s worth locking yourself in for.
