Journey to Echo

Journey to Echo is a survival adventure set seventeen days after the collapse of civilisation. The player wakes alone in an isolated underground bunker with dwindling supplies and a vehicle that is barely running. They carry an experimental serum and must stay alive long enough to deliver it, while searching for any remaining survivors beyond the shelter.

The game takes place in a handcrafted open world made up of abandoned towns, forgotten roads, military convoys, remote lakes and wilderness areas. Players drive and maintain their vehicle, managing fuel and planning each expedition before setting out. Scavenging covers food, water, medicine, ammunition and other equipment, and ammunition is treated as a limited resource. Along the way there are encounters with infected creatures and hostile survivors, as well as communication systems to repair in order to uncover clues about the last remaining outposts.

Between expeditions, the player manages their bunker and organises supplies. The world features dynamic weather and a day and night cycle, and the developer describes the experience as focused on exploration rather than repetitive grinding. The game has now been released on Steam, where it currently holds a Mixed user review rating.
