PEAK
PEAK drops you and up to three mates on a mysterious island with one way off it: climb the mountain in the middle. It’s proper co-op stuff too, you’ll be boosting each other up ledges, laying ropes for the ones behind you, and generally relying on each other because going it alone is a rough ride.
The climb itself takes you through four different biomes, each with their own way of trying to kill you. You’ll be scavenging dodgy food, nursing injuries that eat into your stamina, and making the most of survival gear like energy drinks, climbing spikes and the odd bit of mystery kit like the Anti-Rope. Every advantage matters when the mountain doesn’t care whether you make it or not.
What keeps it fresh is that the island changes every single day, so there’s always a new layout to figure out with your group, or the same one to have another crack at if you fancy some revenge. Pick up badges and cosmetics along the way, chat with your team through proximity voice, and enjoy a campfire marshmallow or two before the next attempt. Solo runs are on the table if you’re feeling brave, but climbing with friends is where PEAK comes into its own.
