TAMA JIGOKU is a physics-based arcade game in which the player launches a ball to ricochet through alien formations across a 30-level single-player campaign.

TAMA JIGOKU is a single-player arcade game that frames an alien invasion of Earth as a pinball table, with the player controlling the ball. Each level presents a formation of alien ships. The player aims a launch, and the ball rebounds through the formation according to physics rules. Ordinary ships add to the score and can release one of 23 rare combat powers, such as Multiball, Gravity Well, Nuke Ball, Chain Lightning, Fireball and Triple Cannon. The main objective on every board is to destroy all of the yellow command ships, which breaks the formation and sets off a chain-reaction finale.

A portal moves across the bottom of the battlefield and can catch the ball as it falls, so timing a save is part of the core play. The game is built around quick restarts and score chasing, with an emphasis on rebounding through dense groups, hunting long chains and passing through narrow gaps. As the campaign progresses across invaded cities, other worlds and the alien homeworld, it introduces two-hit chrome defence orbs, solid barriers, moving hazards and weather effects, while keeping the same ricochet rules. Levels 10, 20 and 30 are large mothership encounters that end with slow-motion destruction sequences.

Presentation includes reactive backgrounds, impact freezes, camera motion, particle effects and layered arcade audio. The interface is available in Japanese and English, with Japanese selected by default. The game contains no microtransactions.
