Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is a first-person shooter set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, serving as a direct sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. The single-player campaign follows on from the events of the first game and branches into different paths, taking players to new locations including a hive city and a jungle swamp biome.
Players can choose between two playable characters: Malum Caedo, a Sternguard Veteran, and Nyra Veyrath, a Sister of Battle. Each character has distinct abilities, weapons, and playstyles, with Caedo suited to direct combat and Veyrath offering a faster, more mobile approach. Combat involves an arsenal of Space Marine weapons, including melee options such as the chainsword and ranged weapons like the shotgun, used against enemies including Bloodletters and their Juggernauts.
The game builds on the combat systems of the original Boltgun, introducing new enemies from different factions, new weapons, and new locations. It includes a navigation guide feature intended to help players move through levels while remaining engaged in combat.
