Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is a retro-styled first-person shooter set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, serving as a direct sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. The single-player campaign continues the story from the first game, taking players to new locations across a branching structure, with different paths leading to unique levels.

Players can choose between two playable characters: Malum Caedo, a Sternguard Veteran, and Nyra Veyrath, a Sister of Battle, each with distinct abilities, weapons and playstyles. Combat is built around fast, explosive FPS gameplay using an arsenal of Space Marine weaponry, including melee weapons such as the chainsword and ranged options like the shotgun. Enemies include returning and new factions, such as Bloodletters and their daemonic Juggernauts.

The game introduces new environments, including a hive city and jungle biomes with mangrove swamps, along with new enemies and weapons not featured in the original title. It also includes a navigation guide feature intended to help players move through levels while remaining in the midst of combat.
